Bio:
Tara was the youngest England member to be selected in 2005 when she Represented England in Tokyo at the Japanese Nationals at the age of 8. She is also 4 Time European Champion and a 3 Time European Bronze Medalist and has been selected to represent England again in the Europeans in Paris in November. Tara trains a minimum 3 hours a day and at weekends and has competed Internationally in Sweden, Romania, Portugal, Japan, Italy, Ireland and Switzerland. She is currently doing a degree at Lincoln University.

How has the Worcester Sporting Grant helped you?
The Worcester Sporting grant contributed to the funding required for the Wadokai Karate European Championships in Paris November 2017.
Tara entered the Under 21 catergory and became the Silver medallist.
Tara was also apart of the Team Kata event defending their Gold title by winning the event for the second year running.
Aims for the future?
To be selected for the EKF (English Karate Federation) squad and train towards the Olympics.
